Pack 490 Volunteer Help Needed
Scouting isn’t like soccer or baseball where we are on the sidelines cheering our kids on. Cub Scouting is hands on. It is a family activity, run by volunteers, and we need every family to participate in order to make it successful. We expect each family to volunteer in some way during the year. Remember, Volunteering is something you get to do, not have to do.
But we recognize everybody is busy and some people may not have much time to contribute. That’s Okay! You don’t have to become a registered leader in order to help out. There are many activities available that just need someone to help with.
We also recognize that you may not know how to do everything for a task and therefore you may think that you can’t help out. Wrong! All you need is the desire and commitment to help, and our leaders can help coach and walk you through the steps.
Below is a list of leadership positions available as well as some specific activities that we could use help with. Please take a look and let us know what you might be interested in helping out with.
